Hello and Welcome to Thyme to Change! My name is Trish and I’m from WV. I started my blog to help myself and others learn to live a healthy lifestyle. Let’s face it… I grew up where you ate meat, potatoes and gravy at almost every evening meal. Where mom made homemade hot rolls and pepperoni rolls!! (my favorite) Now I am not saying anything is bad about that food, it’s not going to make you sick but it’s not going to help your waist eating it every day either 🙂
I have been trying to eat a low Glycemic diet. I try to keep it simple, use clean, organic foods and incorporate fresh herbs. I am by no means a professional cook, but I am starting to learn other ways of cooking and eating than how I was raised. I still enjoy my southern foods, but I try to cook them healthier, if not, then I try to eat them moderately.
