Crock Pot Chicken and Noodles may not be the healthiest meal if you are trying to lose weight or watch your carbs but it sure is delicious. It is an absolute comfort food. Especially today for me as I am under the weather with a cold. I just don’t feel like doing a bunch of cooking.
With this recipe I can spend a few minutes preparing and let the Crock Pot do the rest. ( I also think this is the best chicken slow cooker recipe ever) Since my husband and son both are working 12-hour night shifts this week, I really feel like I should send them off to work with a good home cooked meal.
What Ingredients Do I Need To Make Crock Pot Chicken And Noodles?
As I mentioned, this recipe is very simple, and you only need a few ingredients. Most you may already have in your pantry or refrigerator.
Chicken, Frozen Egg Noodles, Cream of Chicken Soup, Chicken Broth, Chicken stock and Butter.
Note: I used two chicken stock as I messed up and bought 1 can of Fat Free Cream of Chicken Soup. I decided to add an extra stock to give it more flavor to compensate my mistake.
Cook on Low for 5-6 Hours or Until It Reaches 165° F
Once chicken is completely cooked, remove it from the Crock Pot and tear into pieces. I love Cumin on my chicken so I did sprinkle some on the shredded chicken before adding back to the crock pot.
Add chicken pieces back to Crock Pot.
Add Frozen Noodles and cook for another 1-2 hours until noodles are tender.Print
